Mr. Carr is both a Soils Scientist and a Wetlands Scientist with Meridian Land Services, Inc., with over fifteen years of experience mapping and delineating soil and wetland boundaries. He is responsible for soil maps produced according to both Natural Cooperative Soil Survey standards and High Intensity Soil mapping standards for New Hampshire. His experience also includes delineating jurisdictional wetland boundaries for applications submitted to the New Hampshire Wetlands Bureau. He is also a subsurface disposal system designer with over nineteen years experience designing residential and commercial systems and in obtaining state and local approvals for construction of the designed systems.
Prior to joining Meridian Land Services, Inc., Mr. Carr was employed by Provan and Lorber, Inc., where he performed similar duties as a soil scientist, subsurface system designer and engineering technician. From January 1990 to April 1993, Mr. Carr was employed by Technical Environmental Specialists Corp., of Manchester, Connecticut, where he gained vast experience in the environmental industry relating to hydrocarbon recovery and remediation of contaminated groundwater and soil. His experience ranges from phase one mortgage assessments through subsurface exploration of soils and groundwater, to the design and implementation of remedial action plans. He was the Project Manager of three bulk storage oil facilities under remediation by Consent Order from the New York State Department of Environmental Protection, as well as, several individual service stations throughout Connecticut and southeastern New York State.
Mr. Carr was employed by Thomas F. Moran, Inc., from October 1986 to January 1990, as a soil scientist, subsurface system designer and an engineering technician.
