CHAD E. BRANON, P.E.

Project Manager

 

Mr. Branon is a Project Manager at Meridian Land Services, Inc., responsible for all engineering aspects of commercial, industrial, and residential projects.  His work includes all phases of the design and development of a project, from the preparation of conceptual plans to final site and subdivision engineering plans and reports, including presentations before municipal and state officials.

 

Mr. Branon has been involved in the engineering/surveying fields since 1997, including 5 years experience in the construction field and 3 years as a residential subsurface septic designer. 

 

 

Examples of Recent Work:

 

· Little Mackenzie Development, LLC - Greenville & New Ipswich, New Hampshire

70-Lot Residential Subdivision (Road and Drainage Design & Permitting) - This project consisted of designing an 8,570-foot through road and four cul-de-sac roads totaling approximately 2,000-feet of road with associated drainage and permitting to service a proposed 70-lot residential subdivision.  This project also included the design of multiple fire suppression systems such as fire ponds and cisterns.

 

· Financial Concepts, Inc.  - Amherst, New Hampshire

Site Design for a Bank & Office Complex - This project involved the design of a parking lot, site grading, a self contained drainage system and all local and state permitting, for a Bank and Office Complex totaling 9,300 square feet.  The site was design to be self contained and to recharge all runoff up to the 50-year design frequency storm.

 

· Sandy Hill Realty, LLC - Milford, New Hampshire

Site Design for Gravel Operation - This project consisted of designing a site plan for a gravel removal operation.  The engineering for this project included the grading for the removal of approximately 550,000 cubic yards of material, a self-contained drainage system infiltrating all stormwater runoff, and obtaining all local and state permits.

 

· W/S Amherst Properties, LLC - Amherst, New Hampshire

Design of Off-Site Improvements for Commercial Development on NH Route 101A - Mr. Branon’s portion of this project consisted of designing the off-site improvements for a Mixed Use Commercial Development off New Hampshire Route 101A.  This included the preparation of general improvement plans, layout plans, and cross-sections showing all proposed saw cuts, drainage improvements, curbing improvements, limits of proposed overlay, pavement markings and layout, and signage per NHDOT Specifications.

 

· Pelletier Logging Ltd., Inc.  - Greenville, New Hampshire

4-Lot Commercial Subdivision & Site Plan for Convenience Store & Service Station - This project consisted of 820-feet of road design to service a four lot commercial subdivision and the site design for a convenience store with gasoline service stations and a coffee shop drive thru on one of the commercial lots.  The engineering for this site consisted of designing the layout of the site, all required grading, drainage design and treatment, municipal sewer connection, a 2,365-foot municipal water line extension to service this development, a traffic analysis, and all local and state permitting.
