Mr. Guida is a subsurface system designer and certified wetland scientist with Meridian Land Services, Inc., responsible for the design of residential and commercial septic systems and obtaining state and local approvals for construction of the designed systems.  Mr. Guida is also responsible for delineation and classification of wetlands. Prior to joining Meridian, Mr. Guida worked as a Project Scientist with Nobis Engineering, Inc., Concord, New Hampshire, and as an Environmental Scientist with RMT, Inc., in Ann Arbor,                Michigan, gaining extensive experience in wetland delineation, soil                classification methods, hydro geologic investigations, environmental                site assessments, construction management and surveying.

 

WORK EXPERIENCE:

· Mapping soil boundaries and preparing high intensity soil surveys (HISS)

· Delineating jurisdictional wetlands in accordance with State and Federal guidelines including the US Army Corps of Engineers 1987 Manual.

· Designing and inspecting subsurface effluent disposal systems

· Conducting precise and general topography and boundary surveys

· Planning and conducting Phase I site assessments and investigations which include asbestos inspections and sampling, drinking water sampling, lead paint screening and sampling, radon screening, wetland identifications, report generation.

· Planning and conducting Phase II site assessments and investigations which include subsurface investigations, monitoring well installation, soil and groundwater sampling, data interpretation and report generation.

· Planning and designing hydro geologic investigations which include preparing cost estimates, work plans and subcontracts.

· Conducting on-site construction management and documentation, including: RPR, UST removal, generating closure reports.
