Soil Scientist - Entry Level (spring 2008 position)

Responsibilities:

 

· The successful candidate will be trained to complete Site Specific Soil Maps, High Intensity Soil Maps, Wetland Delineation and Septic System Design.

· Acquiring New Hampshire Certifications and Design Permit will be primary goals.

 

Education / Experience Requirements:

 

· Qualified candidates will have a BS in Soil Science or related degree with soil courses in transcript.

 

Skill Requirements:

 

· Good communication skills, both orally and written

· Ability to work independently and manage time, as well as work as part of a team

· Be able to pay attention to details

· Computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Office

· Candidate must be physically able to complete fieldwork including but not limited to augering for soil samples and minor lifting.

· Experience with AutoCAD Land Desktop 2005 is a plus

· Prior experience including surveying is a plus.
